Associate Professor with Habilitation in the Department of Polymer Engineering at the University of Minho, Portugal. She earned her PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering from the same institution in 2000.
Her primary research areas encompass polymerization, copolymerization, polymer modification, polymer blends, and nanocomposites, with a particular emphasis on developing nanostructured, sustainable, functional, and intelligent materials, as well as polymers derived from natural resources.
Ana Vera Machado has a substantial record of scientific contributions:
